As far as working in a woodshop I am very familiar with table saws, chop saws, band saws, a resaw. A jointer, planner. Routers of all different sizes. I can read standard blueprints plus the weird blueprints that stair builders use. I am now retired from the railroad and looking for part time work for some additional income and to keep me busy. I know you told me that you have a young guy you use around the shop. What I'm asking is that if this guy doesn't work out or decides to quit think about me. I'm willing to do grunt work and can easily do tasks like glue up of treads, newel post, fittings, rails, etc. Things that can be done more cost effectively for you so your skilled workforce can do what they do. I am also very familiar with making volutes, end caps, eastings, rails. I'm familiar with attaching fittings to rail and carving them out. I'm looking for part time work and my work hours can be very flexible. I can work one day a month, one day a week, 4 or five days a week. If you need a utility player that won't break the bank (as I'm not trying to raise a family anymore) keep me in mind.
