Life Saving Award

While executing a search warrant with the Detroit Police Department a suspect fleeing was injured while jumping through a house window, slicing his throat open. I applied first aid and along with two other officers drove to Grace Hospital providing life saving measures. I was later awarded a Life Saving medal from the Department for our quick response and care resulting in his recovery.
