New launch of Philly-flavored soft pretzel brand products. Based on approx 100 year recipe. Focus is to not only succeed selling bakery products, but to very sincerely provide real tangible support to charities that feed the hungry in this world.
In 2020, unfortunately the Philly Pretzel bakery I had grown up with had gone out of business. It became obvious that in order to fulfill the vision, the recipe would need to be mastered. I got mentored by the Philly bakery and began baking pretzels. I decided to launch a plan to evaluate the local market for business viability. I baked my newly mastered soft pretzels and marketed them to my local neighborhood in Queens, NY. It was an opportunity to execute a through proof of concept, get great feedback from fans, and get a real handle on the challenges to truly launch a successful brand with a global vision with positive impact. During summer of 2021, over 10 consecutive Saturdays, sales grew from 50 pretzels/day to over 1500/day...30X growth.
Fed up with the lack of quality soft pretzels in NYC, I decided to bring some from Philly. My associate was a butcher who allowed me to sell them on Saturdays from his shop. The same bakery that made the pretzels I sold as a young teenager was still operating, so the choice was easy. I also added other products, such as cinnamon sticky buns. This is where the name Pauly Pretzels was given to me.
