Recognized as ITA Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2018. Achieved a win-loss record of 136-62 over eleven years. Led the team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014, 2016, and 2019. Concluded the 2014 season with an NCAA year-end ranking of No. 24, the highest in Penn State history. Attained an ITA national ranking of No. 16 in both 2014 and 2016, the highest for Penn State. Finished third in the Big Ten Conference in 2014 and 2016, the program's highest placement. Set a record for the most dual match wins in a season with 22 victories in both 2014 and 2016. Qualified for the ITA National Indoor Team Championships Sweet 16 in 2015. Secured a top-10 recruiting class ranking by Tennis Recruiting Network in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Coached six singles players and three doubles teams that competed in the NCAA Championships in 2014 and 2016. Developed five All-Big Ten Conference players. Finished the 2019 season with an ITA national ranking of No. 27.
Developer and president of SlingHopper Drill Bags -a worldwide tennis-teaching product endorsed by legendary coaches Nick Bollettieri and Brad Gilbert, who served as the company's spokespersons. The product has become widely used in the coaching community and can be found on the practice courts at many Grand Slam events. The bag is sold by Gamma Sports.
Oversaw daily operations of a Nike Junior summer tennis camp, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants. Developed a variety of programs to enhance camper enjoyment and growth, while recruiting and training counselors. Managed a team of counselors, providing training and mentorship to ensure a high-quality experience for campers. Coordinated daily schedules and activities, ensuring that all logistical needs were met efficiently.
Revitalized the Division I men's and women's tennis programs at Saint Francis University, transforming them into top-ranked teams in the Northeast Conference. Oversaw all program aspects, including scheduling, travel, promotion, fundraising, practice planning, equipment management, and community service. In under four seasons, the teams achieved 96 match victories and over 798 individual wins, reaching three quarterfinals and two semifinals in the Northeast Conference—marking the highest achievements in school history. Both programs improved their rankings from 7th and 8th to 3rd and 4th place. Successfully recruited over 17 U.S. and international student-athletes with top rankings.
Primary role was to assist the Head Coach with management of the athletic program; assists with all aspects of the recruiting process; helps mentor student-athletes to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth; assists in gathering, preparing and presenting scouting materials; assists with film exchange; assists in practice planning and skill development; assists with team travel; assists with purchasing/inventory of equipment; assists in organization of sport camps; coordinates visiting team requests; compiles and maintains statistical information; supervises student managers and other ancillary personnel.
Designed, planned, and implemented tennis programs, including special events and clinics, with a strong focus on program development. Supervised all tennis activities, manage equipment rentals, and promote clinics and events to engage members. Conducted instruction for all skill levels, develop lesson programs for adults and juniors, and junior academy. In addition to his various coaching roles, I held coaching assignments at many prestigious tennis institutions, including Port Washington Tennis Academy, Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, IMG Bollettieri, Roslyn Racquet Club, Syosset Tennis Academy, Weston Tennis Center, Canongate Country Club, City of Fort Lauderdale, Holiday Park, Delray Beach Tennis Center, and Gerulaitis Tennis Academy. I also collaborated with notable figures in the tennis community, such as University of Georgia Head Coach Manny Diaz and ATP tour player John Isner, serving as the director of tennis for their summer tennis programs. In also gained international experience as a traveling professional for Tennis Europe, a program dedicated to training junior tennis teams as they competed in ITF tournaments across Europe.
