As an artist and painter I worked with Bentley Publishing and they published my painting titled "Tom's Trees". I have been published in Dallas Style and Design magazine. I had an artist studio at The Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum, Tx for 8 years along with 30 other Dallas artists. Continental Gin Building was sold and then my studio moved to Artists@1808 in the GoodWork building on S. GoodLatimer in Dallas. I then signed on with Blue Dragon Fine Art Gallery and my art was represented at Art on Main in Dallas. I currently work with Canvas Rebel for marketing and continue to market my art to Art Consultants and Licensing agencies. My work can be found on the following social media websites: Fine Art America, Society6, Saatchi Art, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn
I worked with Crate & Barrel corporate Designers to acheive a specific store product design and setting. Displays and store layout are designed to create a feeling of walking through an open market. The founder of Crate & Barrel shopped markets around the world and shipped products back to Chicago. In a warehouse these products were displayed in crates & barrels. That's how the stores name was created. Gordon Seigel the founder grew up in a house where a lot of entertaining went on. From this he learned about cookware, textiles, glassware and home decor. The way that these products are displayed in each Crate & Barrel store is well thought out and designed.
I drew to scale oil field machine pumps, airport runways, gas station canapes which are located over the gas pumps and worked in the Auto Cad lab at Tarrant College. This was mainly technical drawing with dimensions and specific requirements.
I worked for the President of the Petroleum Engineering Department. We produced production reports for investors. These reports were printed on site, then I assembled them and put them in binders which were presented to investors.
I lived in Frankfurt Germany for 1 year and studied with Berlitz before moving to Germany
