I am a retired registered nurse. During my career as a nurse, I performed venipuncture for my patient population. I was an integral part of drawing labs for many of my patients. I incorporated compassionate care and communication during blood draw procedures to enhance my patient's experience. I paid careful attention to labeling tubes and following exact directions for handling and storing specimens for transport.

I have excelled in maintaining professional demeanor during high- pressure situations. Patient safety and advocacy is integral to my practise of patient care.

I strongly believe in the practise of reducing contamination by adhering to the practices of proper hand hygiene and other procedures to minimize the spread of infection. An organized and clean workspace is an important aspect of being profession.

I know the importance of being a team member and have a history of working well with a variety of staff members.
