Performing all required duties and responsibilities required of Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspectors in the welding department including but not limited to :

-visual inspection

-weld mapping

-documenting any and all AS-Builds

-Documenting Deletions, Delays, Cut-Outs

-Documenting Repairs

-Daily Reports

-Documenting Management Changes

-Reading Alignment sheets

-Communicating with X-Ray / Phased Array and contractors

-Keeping contractor and employees compliant with local and land owner specifics.

-Documenting welding compliance to quality, parameters, API 1104 codes, and federal regulations.

- Upheld codes and regulations governing materials, processes, and procedures.

- Responsible to get welds NDT tested, and documented. Visual tested welds, weld mapping and putting packages together to get them signed off and sold.

COMBINATION HELIARC AND STICK PIPE WELDER for stainless and carbon metals. Welded first decade in Paper Mills and spread out to Trashburners, STG Power Plants, one fluorine plant, one ship yard, Kaiser Aluminum plant in La and last decade in oil and gas. Had own welding rig last decade and then began weld inspection in 2016.
