Paulina Rodas

I am responsible for making reaching out to high school students to answer questions about what life is like as a Simmons student, inform students of upcoming admission events and deadlines, and help prospective students make an educated decision about whether or not Simmons is right for them. Additional tasks include responding to student questions via email, assisting the admission office with virtual/in-person events as needed, and data projects.

I was responsible for supporting the Inclusive Coffee project by preparing reports and presentations and assisting with administrative tasks. I also had the opportunity to participate in meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing initiatives. I developed comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.

My role is to support first-year honors students in their transition to college. I provide guidance, advice, and mentorship to help them navigate the academic and social aspects of college life. I help students set academic goals, develop effective study habits, and connect them with resources on campus.

Maintained open lines of communication with supervisor and peers, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues or concerns that arose during the project lifecycle. I also managed client communication distribution during ongoing projects.

Plan and organize the annual Honors Awards Dinner, where we take time at the end of the year to celebrate the graduating seniors who are part of the Honors Program.
