- Attach and calibrate IV fluids as ordered by the physician: Dopamine, Dobutamine, Epinephrine, Levophed, Amiodarone, Isoket, Nicardipine, Clonidine, Heparin, Insulin, Lidocaine, Nimotop
- Routine checking of vital and neuro vital signs, including fluid intake and output and Glasgow Coma Scale of neuro patients
- Assists in invasive procedures such as Central venous pressure insertion, simple venous cut-down
- Chest thoracic tube, peritoneal tubing for peritoneal dialysis and maintains aseptic technique all throughout the procedure
- Extraction of blood samples whenever necessary and relays laboratory results with initial knowledge of any deficiency on normal values
- Monitors blood transfusions that are properly typed and crossmatched without fail and observe for any adverse effects
- Suction secretion thru Endotracheal tube, tracheostomy, and oral route
- Performs hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Performs CPR in any event of arrest
- Performs skin tests on patients to be given antibiotics
- Hooks patients to a cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, Infusomat, and Perfusor pump
- Total hygiene care for patients: assisting in voiding draining of urine output via urine bag, cleaning of feces, and ensuring optimum general appearance are performed to alleviate patients' current status.
