As an Any Hour Tech.

I am our lead producing electrical tech, Spearheading one of the best teams in the state of Utah. Individually i produce roughly 1.2 million of revenue out of my service truck at a profit margin of 85%.

I have also took on the lead training role within the company to better develop the techs around me and help the managers of each department get the most production out of each team. We use KPIs to track the techs and myself, focusing on closing % with recommended 4-6 options per customer. I have organized a voluntary training where our guys can come on monday mornings and get a look into the mind and "why" it matters to follow the processes within any hour and our culture.

The most recent success story is a electrical tech Josh Mitchell, naturally known as a low producer but took a full 8 hour ride in my truck. Focusing on setting agenda with him to understand the plan of what we were looking for. The 3 working days following that we had a closing percentage rise from 55% to 86% with the average ticket rising from $555 to $1200. Which was a huge win and confidence boost for him and the team.

I teach 3-6 trainings a week within the departments in all HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Drains. While also being our highest producing field tech. This gives me looks into each department and then i have the opportunity to build specialized trainings to directly help those departments improve and stay accountable of their own numbers. While also giving me the access to get with each service manager and plan for growth and progress in each trade.

- Implemented performance metrics and quality control measures, resulting in a 20% reduction in operational costs while maintaining high safety and compliance standards within OSHA and NEC training.

Our journey from a $0 start to establishing a thriving business with two employees and a steady 10-15% growth can be attributed to several key factors:

1. Clear Vision and Goals: We defined a clear vision and set achievable goals from the outset, which guided our strategies and decision-making processes.

2. Effective Networking: In the early stages, we leveraged our networks to gain referrals and build relationships with potential customers. Active participation in local community events and industry associations helped us establish a presence.

3. Focused Marketing Strategy: We implemented a targeted marketing approach, utilizing both digital and traditional channels to promote our services. By honing in on our ideal customer base, we were able to attract clients who aligned with our offerings.

4. Exceptional Customer Service: From day one, we prioritized exceptional customer service, leading to satisfied clients and word-of-mouth referrals. Happy customers helped us grow our reputation and establish trust in the community.

5. Continuous Learning: We invested in our skills and knowledge, staying updated on industry trends and best practices. This allowed us to refine our services and introduce new offerings based on market demand.

6. Strategic Hiring: As business began to grow, we carefully selected our first two employees. We chose individuals who not only had the necessary skills but also shared our values and commitment to providing excellent service.

7. Operational Efficiency: We focused on streamlining our processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Implementing relevant technologies helped us manage operations effectively, allowing us to serve more clients without sacrificing quality.

8. Incremental Growth Approach: We embraced a strategy of steady, incremental growth rather than seeking rapid expansion. This approach allowed us to solidify our foundation before scaling operations, navigating challenges carefully.

9. Feedback Loop: We regularly sought feedback from employees and customers, using insights to improve our offerings and adapt to changing needs. This responsiveness positioned us favorably in a competitive market.

10. Resilience and Adaptability: Throughout our journey, we remained resilient, learning from setbacks and adapting our strategies to enhance growth. This adaptability was crucial in responding to market dynamics and customer preferences.

Through these focused efforts and an unwavering commitment to our mission, we successfully transitioned from a $0 start to a growing business with a solid team and a promising future.

Ultimately i walked away from that grind of a life to get work life separation and be a more present father and husband in this phase of life. Any Hour has been a huge reminder of perspective and given me that opportunity to grow as a professional but even better a person for my family.
