3 Years 4 Months- In this position I was placed in charge of making sure formwork rebar and finishing work were being performed according to blueprint specifications.

- I was to keep track of the material needed, and the material that was being used.
EIC (Employee in Charge)
11 Months- I was in charge of communicating with the train Operators, Dispatch office, Yard Master, Train Conductors, and other crews in the area to assure that the piece of track we were to perform maintenance work on, was safe.
- I was also in charge of identifying pieces of rail or ties on the railroad that needed to be maintained or replaced.
- Another one of my responsibilities in this position was to identify hazards and improper work practice to keep the crew safe.
Industrial Carpenter
2 Years 9 Months- I started as a labor with this company flagging equipment
- The chance to be a carpenter helper was given to me after volunteering for a night shift my team superintendent wanted filled.
- In this position, I was able to show the concrete forming and finishing skills that I learned while working summers with my father
- I was promoted to a carpenter, where my responsibilities changed from assisting other carpenters, two running the job, making sure everything was too specification.
- They began my role as a journeyman who had helpers working under him.
