Daily tasks of the day vary depending on the phase of the project/projects we have going on. Anything from turnover for client, explaining how the system works, walking client through it step by step, and making sure they are comfortable, and answering questions. I also jump into reading blueprints, walking sites, doing surveys, and doing layout for lighting, speakers, TV heights, keypad locations, access entry, CCTV heights, pointing then to the right angle, AP locations, elevations, and shade location are adequate. Really, anything the client wants to be integrated. I am also the point of contact for the client, project manager. My task also consists of needing to stay on top of budgeting time, materials, changes on the field, and making sure technicians onsite have what they need to complete tasks. Just being a team player, I step in where needed and necessary.

• I started off in the CB side, working on only commercial jobs. Anything from CATV, ISP, phone, VoIP, setting up and configuring, modems set for DHCP/static, setting up alarm systems, troubleshooting, running wires, setting up cameras, and landing and checking fire alarms. Installing contactors, motion sensors, occupancy sensors, and glass break sensors. On the other side of this company's division, I would ride along and train techs on how to pull and land fiber. How to slice fiber, check it and verify it, and install ONTs/modems in DMARK.
