Reapair machinary
A heavy machinery welder repairs, maintains and manufactures metal structural components using techniques such as SMAW, GMAW or FCAW. Its main functions include interpreting technical plans, cutting and welding metals (steel), preparing surfaces, performing high-strength welds in complex positions, and performing preventive/corrective maintenance to reduce the downtime of equipment such as excavators, tractors and cranes
Features:
Repair and Maintenance: Weld broken, worn or cracked parts in heavy machinery components, such as caterpillars, ladles, hydraulic arms and racks.
Preparation of Materials: Clean, cut, degre and align metal parts before welding, using oxyfuel, grinding and plasma cutting tools.
Welding Application: Join metals using various techniques (electric arc, MIG, MAG, TIG) adjusting voltage and amperage parameters.
Interpretation of Plans: Read diagrams and technical diagrams to ensure that repairs and fabrications comply with the manufacturer's specifications.
Safety and Regulations: Rigorously comply with safety protocols (use of PPE) when working with heavy machinery, often in forced, uncomfortable positions or at heights.
Inspection: Verify the integrity and quality of welded joints to avoid future structural failures
