I am currently a Fire Academy student at Oklahoma State University, working toward completing for my certifications for FF1, FF2, and Hazmat. Before beginning this academic journey, I served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, where I gained invaluable experience that challenged me both physically and mentally. My time in the military taught me discipline, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure, while also helping me develop strong teamwork skills. These qualities have shaped me into a reliable and hardworking individual, and I continue to carry them with me in all aspects of my life. I believe they are essential in the nursing profession. Over the years, I've worked in a variety of roles, which has helped me build a strong work ethic and a high level of adaptability. At this stage in my life, I am focused on finding work and living arrangements closer to school so I can fully dedicate myself to my education and future career in nursing.
