At First watch we server fast and with efficiency. Great with a smile and with a pot of coffee. If tables want coffee we pour it for them. If tables don't want coffee we give different suggestion by offer our freshly juices. We try ro get their order right away if table aren't ready we give them their time. While they look at the menu we bring their drinks out and check again if they are ready to order. Once order is taken it is our job to make sure their food delivers hot and under 10 minutes. Once they have a few bites we check on table to see if there food is to their satisfaction. Once they are half way done with their meal we present check to allow them to pay when they are ready without being rush.
As a server, I make sure that customers have a great experience at the restaurant. I make sure I have customers' orders right. Throughout the shift, I take tables and run food to my tables and run other servers' food to help. As I am taking care of tables, I make sure I am pre-bussing for customer satisfaction. As a server, I serve above the standard so that I build customers' loyalty for their return visits. Building loyalty increases business which leads to increased revenue.
When new servers would be hired, I was in charge of their training. If they had server experience already, I would make sure I get them ready in a week. if they didn't have any experience, I would get them ready in two weeks. I would make sure new servers were organized with the things they carry like notepads, pins, and checkbooks. I also made sure their uniform was clean and appropriate.
