Accomplishments

  • Implemented new procedures to retain all building permit files in digital format for easier access and longer record retention.
  • Created Microsoft Access receipting process to move from separate paper receipts for each type of permit to a single receipt for the customer, that still allowed the company to provide needed financial reporting.
  • Was chosen to train as an additional database administrator for Cityworks software. Used my extensive experience in permitting to create and tailor 20+ workflows in the software for the City's use. This saved the City an estimated $500,000 by not having to hire the software company or a third party to create all of the needed workflows.
