PEGGY KNUDSON

Washington,DC

Summary

In my 27 years as a successful fundraiser, my undergraduate degrees in English and journalism have served me well. My excellent communication skills—written and verbal—have helped me raise more than $300 million from individuals, foundations, corporations, and governments for nonprofits working on a variety of issues: environmental protection, climate change, foreign policy, international security, global health, and the advancement of women, among others. I opened and directed the first American foundation office in the former East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
