I have never called out sick in the 7 years I have worked for American Metals Supply.

I am the only driver American Metals Supply has that does not use a helper for larger deliveries. These deliveries require lifting & moving very heavy materials from up to 32 feet to 40 feet in length.. I am a rare person at heart who likes hard work & I do not like to miss work. The 30 ft box truck has a small window in the attic that opens for the longer lengths of 32 to 40 ft material to stick out of the front of the truck. This is why the class B CDL is required, plus the bigger truck of 30 ft past the normal 26 ft.

I only missed 1 day of work in the 8 years I worked for Unlimited Moving due to food poisoning.

I am a really healthy person that rarely gets sick or misses work. When I worked for Unlimited Moving I was without the class B CDL in my first few years working locally. Then I got the class B CDL & worked locally, but more out of state going into eastern & central time zones as far as Chicago Illinois. & Michigan in central to northeast New England areas such as New Hampshire & Rhode Island. I drove a class B box truck with 2 sleepers inside, sleeping at truck stops & rest areas, pulling a smaller class B trailer allowing up to 10k lbs additional to be pulled from behind.  For the most part & most consistently, this was the last time I drove a stick shift which had 10 gears going back 9 to 10 yrs ago.  American Metals did have 1 stick shift truck I drove in my first yr or 2 of work, but they eventually did away with it & went to all automatic transmission trucks. It was only a 6 gear or  6 speed stick shift.

Suncoast experience

I worked only locally in the state of Florida, but I went as far as Miami & Pensacola driving a 26 ft box truck or less.

St Vincent De Paul

When I was at St Vincent De Paul, I drove a smaller box truck of 24 ft or less, picking up donations of clothing & furniture in the Ruskin & Sun City Florida areas. Then bringing it to the Ruskin thrift store to put on display for sale or to be give away at discount to the less fortunate.
