I worked as an LPN for about 10 year, prior to going to college. I attended CORE in 2004 and was hired in January of 2005. I worked CPS, PP, FC and Adoptions. I spent a bout a year and a half in Day Care Licensing, then left in July of 2012. From that time to returning to OHS in 2017, I had a DHS licensed Day Care and then became a Foster Parent. First as Kinship FP for my grandson, then a traditional FP. I returned to OHS (Okmulgee Co) as CPS and then PP in 2017 and remained there until 2021. I left for a little over a year and returned in 2022 to the Roving Unit, where I remain at this time. I have the medical background, the experience of being a foster parent, a Meme of a child in care and a worker. I feel that I am well rounded and able to understand this field of work, from many perspectives.
