- Print out the blue print & the Internal Quality Report /IQR. Pick up the parts in the shop & inspect them & enter the inspection results into the IQR card & enter it into the computer system.
- Correct orders that are on hold & release it.
- Cam 2 2020 faro arm: Check blue print for what needs to be inspected, fasten part on the table, start the Cam2 software & determine which way to lay the part on the table for the measurements required.
- Follow the software program & make adjustments as needed. Enter the correct measurements on the inspection sheet & I enter that into the computer.
- Inspecting parts: Use thread gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, plug gauges, pin gauges, tape measure, comparator, height gauge, weights & red tag parts.
- Scan paperwork into the computer & make a PPAP/PPAP defines the approval process for new or revised parts.
- Train machine operators how to measure parts correctly.
