I have a passion for helping people that is why I decided to become a CNA in 1996. I am
experienced with patient care and daily living assistance. I utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to ensure patient comfort and safety.
I started off as a CNA on the unit, then I later transferred over to supply chain. I order, manage and maintain supplies needed to help take care of patients on a daily basis. I ensure that the supplies are very well stocked and organized.
I provided direct patient care including bathing dressing, feeding and assisting with mobility. I was responsible for taking patient’s vitals, monitoring those vitals and reporting any changes or abnormalities to the nurse. I had to document patient information, accurately, and timely. I also assisted patients with transferring from bed to wheelchair with gait belts or mechanical lift devices. I helped to maintain a clean and safe environment for all my patients.
