  • Advocated for the correct interpretation of all customer technical specifications and perform requirements planning with focus on risk identification and mitigation. Where risk cannot be reduced with existing products, elect design assessments and changes upfront to be discussed with customers.
  • Characterized and defined all requirements & geometry for product's parts and organize into assembly models to be used for drawings & analysis. Formalized bills of material to be inputted into MRP software.
  • Ensured all design documentation is created or updated prior to procurement initiation. Worked closely with Supply Chain and Quality to ensure parts are received without defects.
  • Responsible for all meetings/reviews and presentations held with customers, and their associated actions to attain acceptance on design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
  • Provided contractual deliverables as output prior to production phase. Analyses, materials/parts control plans, and test procedures were developed to guarantee alignment of deliverable hardware to internal and customer specifications.
  • Championed the necessity of prototype evaluations to demonstrate effectiveness of product design and efficiency under challenging conditions to eliminate risk before procurement.
  • Established strong working relationships with clients to ensure clear communication of expectations and requirements throughout the project lifecycle, leading to repeat business and referrals.
  • Handled all root cause determination and reporting for non-conformances for parts and for product encountered during performance tests. Implemented corrective actions to design and processes that prevented reoccurrence during FRB/MRB.
