Pete Shetler

As the Head Coach of the KPS Boys Basketball program, I aim to be a professional who coaches and instructs athletes in the game of basketball. First and foremost, student athletes are students first. I will work to encourage our athletes to be successful in the classroom so they can enjoy the participation of being on the basketball court. I will work to impart knowledge and the understanding of techniques, allowing players to improve their performance and achieve goals. It is also important to me to help athletes develop vital skills and remain in top physical condition for the game. I will teach rules, regulations, and specifics of the game of Basketball. It is my aim to encourage players, promote sportsmanship, develop a strong feeder system and help athletes to realize their full athletic potential. I will be responsible for the recruitment and retainment efforts of talented athletes, in addition to effectively managing the KPS Mens basketball program.
