While my Harvard work is technically departmental teaching faculty, the dept. itself is in transition to a newer identity on campus.

As such, I have coupled pedagogical vision w/ one for promotion and PR, working w/ the dept.'s media rep to strategically film/interview students and their classwork to better brand the dept.'s aspirational image.

"Design by Nami" is a growing small business/fashion label. My work has included:

  • Website content (artist bios, mission statements, product descriptions, etc.)
  • In-person sales/brand representation for clients.

Aside from the syncretic advantage of approaching a small business from the multiple points of view each of these tasks demand, the work has allowed me to showcase

As an internationally recognized brand, Blue Man Group has attracted marketing opportunities w/ some of the world's most respected and high-profile companies. In my position as performing director of the Blue Man Group international tour, I collaborated w/ our local production partner (Stage Entertainment) to both make and assess proposals for marketing opportunities (multi-media campaigns, live events, etc.) w/ companies such as Microsoft, ING, KLM and others.


Responsibilities/skillsets included


Generated social media buzz by creating shareable, attention-

grabbing content that fostered online community engagement.

  • Collaborative meetings (setting content, deadlines, logistics, etc.) w/ corporate representatives, producorial intermediaries and creative contractors.
  • Generating live engagement set lists/logistics summaries/budgets.
  • Creating social media, cable media and print media strategies to maximize exposure and buzz.
