Responsible for conducting criminal, civil, and administrative investigations into allegations of insurance fraud and other violations of the Insurance Article. Used both public and law-enforcement sensitive databases to investigate both licensed and unlicensed individuals and entities, as well as interview witnesses, respondents, suspects; prepare detailed reports, case files, orders to produce, etc. Assigned cases were expected to be seen to conclusion while working collaboratively with team members, supervisors, prosecutors, Office of the Attorney General, and other law enforcement agencies.

Tasked with ensuring the safety and well-being of all members, guests, and employees on an expansive property. Patrolled multiple buildings within the club grounds by foot and vehicle. Responded to emergency situations, alarms, injuries, and reports of crime. Prepared written reports to document all incidents/offenses for management. I also monitored/reviewed CCTV cameras to ensure the safety of all persons on the property

Assigned to investigate both misdemeanor and felony crimes. Experience investigating all types of incidents, including thefts, threats of violence, robberies, and shootings. Focused especially on residential and commercial burglaries within assigned district. Prepared arrest warrants and Custody Orders. Prepared search warrants for multiple areas (personal residences, electronic devices, DNA, etc.).

- Experience interviewing complainants, concerned citizens, witnesses, suspects, respondents, and defendants in-person and over the phone, as well as in custodial and non-custodial settings.

-Helped and assisted coworkers in developing probable cause to arrest individuals during both on-scene investigations and through D.C. Superior Court-issued arrest warrants

-Assigned criminal cases and responsible for all follow-ups and seeing every case to its conclusion.

-Worked closely with members of the United States Attorney's Office and Office of the Attorney General within the scope of assigned investigations.

As a patrol officer, I was assigned to a specific district and patrol service area. Made countless positive interactions with the community, responded to thousands of calls for service, and made hundreds of arrests. Able to problem-solve and make an impact in assigned area to benefit residents.

- Selected to be a part of the "Third Watch Program," a proactive unit that was able to address citizen concerns directly.

- Attended numerous PSA and community meetings/events as a member of the Department to help foster a positive relationship between the Department and members of the community.

I was also one of five officers selected to the newly created Field Inspection Unit, under the Office of Risk Management. Responsible for creating and helping to implement new policies and procedures to minimize potential risk to the Department. Met with officers, supervisory officials, watch commanders, and command staff to discuss how to improve general orders and advise how members were adhering to current policies.

- Spoke with members of the Department from patrol to specialized units to ascertain how best to implement new ideas/concepts.

- Responsible for distributing, collecting, and analyzing different surveys and checklists to document policy adherence throughout the city.
