• Facilitating professional development for district staff

using research based instructional methods to integrate

technology and multimedia tools into K-12 classrooms.

●Serving on district and school leadership committees including district professional development team, curriculum development cohort, and principal advisory committee.
●Driving student learning by establishing clear instructional plans and group objectives, as well as actionable strategies to achieve each goal.
●Designing interdisciplinary lesson plans, utilizing technology to innovate learning.

●Operating with an equity lens though lesson planning, district relationships, student focus, and classroom design.
●Assessing learner progress using NWEA/MAP data, anecdotal notes and learner feedback, to adjust instructional approaches as needed.
●Collaborating with teacher cohorts to design social studies curriculum used by the district.

• Introduced and implemented balanced literary use in the classroom
• Differentiated instruction through use of balanced literacy and technology to effectively reach every child in the classroom
• Taught 4th, 5th and 6th grade Math classes and gained thorough competency with Everyday Mathematics and Math Alive curricula
• Instituted effective parental involvement strategies to support student learning and encourage parents and guardians to become active in the classroom
• Used the RTI approach to help below grade level students.
• Took 33 students on a trip to Washington D.C.
