Peter Nemmers

My first job was at the YMCA as a Concession Stand worker during the summer of 2023. Over time, I worked up the necessary endurance needed to pass the lifeguard swim test, thus becoming one the following summer. On the job, I gained valuable experience in communication not only with my coworkers, but also with patrons who were unruly and needed redirection along with those who needed help (i.e.). entering the pool with a physical handicap).
