An IT professional who is passionate about working in teams to educate the community. I come with a strong history of advocating for positive change and growth. Skillfully able to manage projects, classrooms, events, various audiences, research and always willing and looking to learn.

Active in the developer community and eager to engage an audience, enjoying learning new technologies during free time, and well versed in the Microsoft Cloud technologies.

I am enthusiastic and excited to contribute to team success through smart work and hard work and collaboration. Used to using StackOverflow, GitHub, Reddit, Quora and social media platforms. I am currently learning management, IT and emerging technologies, Operations and strategic planning in my Masters Program which I am halfway done.

The most evident gift showcased in this document is that I know how to set goals and accomplish them!

African & Caribbean Student Association President

Community Project
Victoria, British Columbia
  • Revived the African and Caribbean Student Association club alongside political science PhD student, Smith Oduro-Marfo. The association had been dormant for a couple years.
  • Led the club as president, while recruiting student executives and defining our values, mission, and vision.
  • Organized panels consisting of professors, student, faculty members, and guest speakers.
  • Planned and organized community events like talent shows, cultural shows, and awareness campaigns.
  • Maintained the association as the University of Victoria sponsored club.

Volunteered in the Chapel (2015 to 2019):

  • Designed creative digital displays used in on-line and in-person advertising for the chapel and local businesses.
  • Put together videos for social media, advertising and informational purposes.
  • Created digital image files for use in digital and traditional printing methods.
  • Assessed system hardware and software and suggested modifications to reduce lag time and improve overall speed.
  • Performed maintenance tasks on PCs, sound systems, networks and mobile devices.

Volunteered in the UVic Engineering Society (2017 to 2018):

  • As a second year engineering student, I wanted to get more involved with the engineering community.
  • I helped plan engineering luncheons, competitions and other events. Worked with professors, company recruiters, engineers, and computer science students to create awareness and build campaigns to champion the department.
  • Developed creative design for print materials, brochures, banners and signs.
  • Coordinated, created and scheduled content, designs and periodic updates to UVic ESS website.

  • Co-directed (with Daniel Adeloye) and wrote the screenplay.

  • Recruited friends and colleagues to join the production as actors and camera operators for free.
