  • Daily responsibility of processing financial transaction confirmation, periodic statement, tax documents, and non-financial confirmation documents for 45+ clients’ customers
  • Answering client questions regarding incoming data
  • Determining feasibility of client requests and implementing those requests; continued the process of confirming data receipt but also implementing the print layout design changes required to present the requested changes.
  • Liaison between the OneTouchPoint Mountain States office (in Denver, CO) and the IT department (in Hartland, WI)
  • Projects
  • Training in Quadient Inspire Designer – when DMXEngage was transitioned to OneTouchpoint we lost expertise in this software. After the week long training, I made it a goal to become the resident expert in this software.
  • Continual improvement to processes: efficiency and documentation
  • Training existing and new staff to perform tasks as my backup.
  • Replaced all manual (copy/paste) reporting/QC sheets with automated versions
  • Converted all old VDP processes (using software called DocForm) into Quadient Inspire Designer
  • Aided in the process of decommissioning all DMXEngage specific servers; documented what each server’s purpose was and determined how its function(s) could either be migrated to a OneTouchpoint server or be shifted to another means that no longer required obsolete hardware and OS.

Engineering Lab Services (ELS) System Administrator and Assets Supervisor

  • Liaison between ELS and test engineers. Worked with engineering lab managers to determine current and future needs.
  • Physically rack mount networking infrastructure (Ethernet switches, terminal servers, KVMs, and PDUs), servers, and switches
  • Installed and configured a variety of operating systems on a wide variety of brand name and generic servers
  • Configured networking infrastructure within designated TCP/IP subnets with proper system functionality
  • Managed and Maintained all inventory for the Engineering department in the Broomfield, CO facility
  • Worked with ELS Department in San Jose, CA to develop more unified and consistent inventory and materials planning

  • Numerous large scale equipment moves and reconfigurations that saved physical space, and reduced required resources
  • Moved user workstations to reorganize departmental units into consolidated locations.
  • Using several methods and software packages (Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, and SCCM) built and deployed operating system and software images both locally (drive to drive) and over network
  • Audited 12,000 pieces of equipment and racks to insure asset tracking number was properly applied and accurately entered into the Inventory Management Database (IMDB)
  • Reinvented ELS consumable inventory storage in order to radically reduce the time and effort required to perform audits.
  • Lab infrastructure audit – hundreds of terminal servers, KVMs, PDUs, and Top-of-Rack network switches had to be visually and logically inspected. All hostname and IP data had to be confirmed, updated, and entered into several databases
  • ELS infrastructure DSView integration – hundreds of terminal servers, KVMs, and PDUs had to be entered into the DSView Database to permit centralized and common control and that database had to be updated as infrastructure equipment was added and/or moved.
  • Boot-over-SAN (BOS) operating systems installation – each of 75 servers had to have three to five operating systems installed in a multiple boot environment.
  • Installed a number of new servers and reconfigured existing servers to meet the needs of the engineering department
  • Overhauled the e-waste processing from a semi-annual massive undertaking to a simple monthly schedule
  • Consolidated and reorganized equipment held in storage to accommodate the loss of storage space to Facilities Department re-purposing.

  • “Network conversions” of five major clients: retired old servers, setup new servers with new domain settings, reconfigured workstations to operate with new domain and servers greatly improving operational efficiency
  • Setup a temporary office space for a client during a remodel. This included the tear down and setup of all computers in the office.
  • Symantec anti-virus upgrades – version 11 is so different that a simple upgrade was not feasible for all our clients. Had to completely uninstall SAV from client networks and install version 11.
  • Optimized computer setup for all clients – realized significant monetary savings for our clients when setting up new computers. Determined a process that maintained a standard setup time but cut the billable time in half.
  • Inventory documentation – created a standard document and wrote instructions so that a clients’ employees could inventory their own workstations. Then compiled that information into a single spreadsheet for analysis (what computers should be replaced, can be upgraded so the company could move to Windows Vista when desired)
