Began teaching one-one-one music lessons in guitar in 1974 and bass guitar in 1976; in the late 1970s also began teaching lessons in piano, theory, songwriting, composition, arranging, and improvisation; eventually also began teaching lessons in harmonica, double bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, percussion, and voice.
