• NCO - USMC: As a senior Corporal (E-4) and Sergeant (E-5) Admin Chief supervising internal admin sections: Record Books, Unit Diary, and General Admin with 8 to twelve junior Marines. Final 3 years as Career Planner managed office staff for Career Planning.
• As owner/team lead for Klicker Connection at Coldwell Banker Burnet in Minnesota, managed 3 full-time employees and 3-4 Realtors.
• Realtor of the Year St. Cloud MN Area Association of Realtors 2005 Awarded for philanthropic efforts, creating a “Ride for Breast Cancer” raising thousands of dollars for local Breast Center while battling my own breast cancer diagnosis.
• Received a Green Award for the project replacing potentially hazardous hand-soap at Minneapolis VA 2014.
• NOTE: between 2007 and 2011 periods of unemployment were due to dealing with the ramifications of breast cancer first diagnosed in 2004. Although cancer free early on, the surgeries lead to some complications. Very healthy for over 10 years and cancer free for 16 years.
• Predating resume: just out of Marine Corps hired as a stock manager overseeing twelve high-school age young men. Moved to a different store as Grocery Manager with a team of 6 to 8 stockers and Assistant Grocery Manager.
• Invited to teach at Community/Technical College teaching in Business and Management Program: Applied Sales Strategies - 1 year, Business Writing - 4 years and Business Communications (speech and presentations) 4 years. Donated income to a scholarship in my name.
