Over the past 5–6 years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of work environments, and I’ve learned that I thrive when I’m helping and connecting with people. I genuinely love serving others, which is why I enjoy customer service so much. I’m energized by positive, service-focused cultures, and I’m always looking for ways to support both individual growth and team success. Whether it’s motivating a teammate, lending a hand, or finding ways to improve, I bring a positive attitude and proactive mindset to everything I do.
As a server at Pizza Factory, I provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure every guest enjoys a positive dining experience. My responsibilities include taking and delivering orders efficiently, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. I take pride in creating an uplifting atmosphere for customers and helping each guest feel valued and satisfied from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
As a Financial Aid Assistant Intern at Southern Utah University, I communicate daily with prospective students, helping them understand their financial aid and scholarship opportunities. I assist with phone inquiries, provide clear and accurate information, and guide students through processes related to funding their education. This role has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while giving me valuable insight into higher education administration and student support services.
During my two years of full-time missionary service, I had the privilege of serving in both remote and urban settings across South Australia and the Northern Territory. I spent most of my time living and working in small Aboriginal communities deep in the outback—out of a tent, surrounded by red desert and bushland. These experiences taught me adaptability, cultural awareness, and the importance of connecting with people from vastly different backgrounds.
I also served in the heart of Adelaide, where I met and interacted with hundreds of people from all walks of life each day. Whether in the city or the bush, my role centered on building trust, listening with empathy, and sharing meaningful messages that brought hope and direction.
Throughout my mission, I had the privilege to serve in various leadership positions that allowed me to train, inspire, and support other missionaries. I developed strong communication, counseling, and organizational skills while leading teams, conducting trainings, and helping others reach their personal and professional goals.
The highlight of my mission was the deep, lasting relationships I built with the people I served and served alongside. Those connections shaped my perspective on leadership, service, and human connection—and continue to influence how I approach life and work today.
At the Aiden by Best Western, I was responsible for maintaining the property’s overall cleanliness, grounds, and facilities, pool maintenance. As the sole person overseeing these tasks, I learned to manage time efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative to ensure that every aspect of the motel looked and operated smoothly.
