At YWCA, I spearheaded youth programs that significantly enhanced children's social skills and teamwork abilities, showcasing my creativity and innovation in age-appropriate programming. My role modeling fostered a supportive environment, cultivating patience, tolerance, and a profound impact on young lives through effective conflict resolution and empathy development.
Working with kids to help their social development is incredibly rewarding and impactful. By engaging in activities that promote teamwork, communication, and empathy, children learn essential social skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Whether it's through group projects, games, or guided discussions, these interactions help kids understand the importance of cooperation, respect for others, and effective conflict resolution. Providing a supportive environment where children feel safe to express themselves and learn from their peers fosters a sense of belonging and confidence. Ultimately, guiding kids in their social development equips them with the tools they need to form healthy relationships and navigate social situations successfully.
At school, I throw javelin for the track and field team. With just very little practice I came out to be the best freshman thrower on the varsity team. I hope to pursue this in college and maybe as a professional athlete. I am also an honor roll student and always push to do better.
