I have held many positions in my ten year career at QuikTrip, with the most recent being a "part time clerk." As a clerk, I do a variety of tasks. I provide excellent customer service for our customers, run register as needed, and conduct a variety of cleaning tasks throughout my shift to maintain cleanliness and order for the store.
As a store manager at QuikTrip, I was fully responsible for my store 24/7. I managed inventory control by writing several orders throughout the week, as well as maintaining cash control by conducting multiple cash audits throughout the week. I trained and developed all of my staff members (assistant managers and clerks) on a variety of tasks to help maintain productivity and continue giving customers excellent service. I was also responsible for resolving customer issues and training my staff how to handle the same issues in an effective manner to ensure we did not lose the customer. I also had the task of completing Profit and Loss reports on my store monthly. In order to do that, I had to be aware of what was going on in that particular community and what could possibly contribute to the profit/ losses of that month.
