As a single assistant I opened the suit at 5 am and began to prep for when we started at 6 am.

Being the only assistant of the stylist who saw a minimum of 12-13 clients a day, I had my hands full from the moment we started till before I even could realize it was afternoon.

From laundry to setting appointments, inventory of both product for hair services to all other rather cleaning or edible, was my responsibility.

Performing root touch ups, washing in the shampoo bowls, hair styling , Brazilians , color mixing, formulating, anything except foiling and cutting I had the duty to do.

Building clientele through regular and friendly approaches on the sales floor, while educating them on hair care and products at hand.

Offering free consultations to help uncertain clients better understand their desired looks.

Performing wide range of color services from

Color correction, balayage, foilyage, vivids, full and partial highlights, tip-outs, and etc.

Performing standard haircuts based on clients' needs.

Performing styling of the hair, whether it be blowouts, curling, or flat ironing.

Offering both forms of keratin treatments (regular and express).

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon areas.

Using salon resources to schedule clients.

Assurance of consistent cleanliness of the salon.

Being on top of salon inventory as a high priority

Attending corporate classes on any given opportunity.

Developing personal yet professional relationships with clients.

Last but not least most importantly, being a team player.

• Brazilian blowout (product application and outdoor blow-dry phase)
• All supervised by Brazilian specialist
• Preparing clients for service (capping, draping).
• Shampooing & conditioning clientele of service
• Scheduling, booking and confirming clientele’s appointments
• Inventory ordering, stocking and organizing
• Laundry duty
• Assurance of stylists station and sanitation at all times
