In my role as Program Manager at Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT), I took the lead on the Move Off Corp (MoC) program, which is a vital initiative focused on boosting network security, scalability, and flexibility across Amazon's global operations. This intricate project demanded close teamwork with various departments to ensure that cloud services could be accessed from external sites while tackling significant challenges, like the Staffing Command Center authentication for MoC locations. Thanks to my leadership, we successfully transitioned 22 AR SSD sites from the Corp network to the MoC network, with plans to wrap up 8 more by 2025. I also crafted and rolled out a Standard Operating Procedure for the Rebin retrofit process, which cut downtime from four hours down to just one. On top of that, I spearheaded the development of a cutting-edge outpost-based PID retrofit solution to address power and data connectivity issues, implementing MoC solutions at key sites like BTR1 (ARS), AUS3 (ARS), and 30 AR SSDs.

In addition to these responsibilities, I managed database program migrations, integrating standard practices and methodologies to streamline processes throughout the organization. This meant coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that our database migration efforts aligned with the broader organizational goals, all while making sure transitions were smooth and caused minimal disruptions. I put best practices for database program management into action, led knowledge transfer sessions, and set up key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of migrations and the overall effectiveness of program management. Throughout these initiatives, I kept the lines of communication open with leadership, providing weekly updates on the operational readiness of AFT service teams. My work on both the MoC program and database management migrations showcased my ability to drive complex projects to successful completion while enhancing operational efficiency and aligning them with Amazon's strategic objectives.

As an infra–Program Manager, I have successfully led and delivered complex data center migrations, database optimization projects, and critical application upgrades. Led a data center migration project involving 25 team members, providing solutions for database migrations and data center exits from India and Singapore to HP premises, the chosen managed service provider. This project required direct interactions with bank clients, participation in operational readiness reviews (ORRs), and ensuring minimal downtime for very high dependent bank applications.

Additionally, led an optimization and consolidation project for the APAC region, migrating 120 production databases to an 8-node Linux virtual server RAC environment. This project involved consolidating multiple databases onto a single cluster while ensuring high availability, failover protection, and technology roadmap compliance. I leveraged my expertise in shell/python scripting to streamline processes. Furthermore, as an Infrastructure Program Manager lead, I played a crucial role in the Simcorp Migration project, upgrading the critical application to the latest version. This involved migrating a large database of up to 10TB from the legacy infrastructure to a new 2-node RAC environment with a 2-node standby setup.

Successfully led a project designed and drove to drive a 60% reduction in the cost of banking client to migrated 150 Standalone database to Exadata Machines for Forma Client (Novartis). Lead a team of 5 people to automate the migration task as Menu based with minimal manual intervention for all migration approaches like EXP/IMP, TTS/XTTS, RMAN, and Golden Gate. Contributed significantly to the development of applications needed to increase our automation testing coverage by implementing feature-level libraries and test cases.

It's a purely Production support Level2 and level 3 issues. Maintained 150 Production databases. Uses the Remedy ticketing system for the issues and Change management for Production implementations.

As the Production support role, we have upgraded most of the databases from 10g to 11g and apply security patches. Normal core banking functions will include deposit accounts, loans, and mortgages payments. Banks make these services available across multiple and channels like ATMs, Internet banking and branches. Upgraded the systems from 10g databases to 11g latest versions with busy Timelines and less downtime, MongoDB Ops Manager & LDAP authentication implementation MongoDB replica set configurations, initial sync and troubleshooting of out of sync issues.

As a senior database administrator had participated in Database migration Projects and as well as Production support role to maintain the database available. As a lead participated in another 4 projects which we had migrated 100+ database to London datacenter have successfully spearheaded critical projects involving complex database environments and migrations. Notably, I led the high-profile Toyota Project, implementing a 2-node primary and 2-node standby RAC environment with DG broker, along with 6 reporting databases replicating data from the primary RAC using MVs. Additionally, I oversaw the RAC Migration from 10gR2 to 11gR2 for Toyota Phase 2, which involved building Oracle Grid Infrastructure and RAC Database for 11gR2 on Linux x86 64Bit Development and UAT platforms, utilizing Dell R900 servers and Linux RHEL 5.4 as an immature product within the organization. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in the AEB (American Express Bank) project, participating as a team member and lead in migrating the database from one data center to another, implementing a 4-node RAC 10g system with a standby 4-node environment, and deploying standalone systems for each country to pull data using MV replications. My expertise spans Oracle 9i/10g/11g on AIX, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and SQL Server.

Administer and maintain Latam Region Oracle 9i/10g R&D Data Warehouse on UNIX (HP-UX) platforms. Setting up of Oracle Data warehouse infrastructure in RND environment for any new projects. After which, to provide detailed technical change documents for Production tech to carry out deployment to production environment.

Responsible for the availability of databases systems and to resolve production issues as they may arise. Also help with tuning the slow applications when required.

Manage, via change requests, the production UNIX (HP-UX) servers and Oracle 9i/10g Data warehouses. Act as a gatekeeper for production changes. Configuring NDM (Network Data Mover) on Mid-Range computers for file Transfers. Automating tasks by writing shell scripts, scheduling through crontab.
