Started at AmeriLux International in the warehouse as a part time employee in college and have been there ever since, developing personally and professionally while growing through the company. Started out in the warehouse cutting and fulling orders of multiwall polycarbonate for our customers. Worked in shipping loading and unloading semi trucks and then became shipping manager who created driver paperwork and scheduled LTL pickups. This lead to me now working in our logistics department. In our logistics apartment, I am in charge of quoting, scheduling, and booking all trucks (inbound and outbound) for our own product, including LTL, dedicated dryvan and flatbed, and even drayage. Also perform these duties for other logistics customers of Amerilux Intentional. Working in the actual warehouse in the shipping and receiving department to now being in Logistics and communicating with carriers directly has given me a passion and wide range of knowledge in the freight world, especially LTL.
