To Whom It May Concern:

First off, I appreciate you taking the time to read through my application for the position at hand. Based on my experiences from my previous employment and events I’ve been apart of show strong potential. At times a problem occurred but wasn’t something that I couldn’t handle or move past without much delay. Before applying to your company, I held a position with UPS on more than one occasion. The positions took place during the busy season, which is in November to around mid-January, when UPS becomes busier due to the increase in packages. The first few times at UPS was helping drivers deliver the packages to the address on the label, while the other position was moving packages from the UPS trucks onto a UPS semi-truck trailer. On occasion, there would be a problem that happened but it was the upmost importance to move past said problem(s) in order to make sure the items got to their location. Even though the positions were only seasonal, they provided an opportunity to return to UPS again and potentially open the door to other related businesses. Nearly every day was fast paced with shifts more often than not going over the standard part time and full-time shift. Working with different drivers and people in different positions gave an opportunity to work with various personalities. Most of the time I had no issue working with another employee but very rarely, there was an individual that had some issue with and reported to one of my superiors. At a later point I found myself a part of the team at Walmart store #1690 over in the backroom area of the store. Working alongside a relatively large team, our job was to clear off the truck(s) which contained all the merchandise/food items for that day. Once all the items were removed from the truck(s), it was then time to make sure the groceries placed in the proper aisles and merchandise was in the correct department. Though there were times in which some of us would be sent over to the neighboring department and assist them with their work loads.

The enclosed resume provides more details of my skills and attributes as well as my track record. If you believe I qualify to be a part of your team, please feel free to call me at (217) 433-8478 or email me at blakeyphilip@gmail.com. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to possibly speaking with you in the future.

Sincerely

Philip Blakey
