Diverse stone brick and block projects, sometimes subcontracting with previous employer and other interesting opportunities. Sometimes involving travel. Stone fireplaces, brick fireplaces, block with stone veneer, some restoration.

Autumnal Ovens is about ovens and thermal mass masonry heaters. Most often creating wood fired cob ovens with groups of volunteers or workshop participants in community-building environments.

• worked with children of all ages to create experiences and foster connection with all aspects of nature. Always outdoors. Overnight campouts in all seasons. Co-led teens on a 7 day canoe trip in a remote area of Maine. No casualties.

Peacekeeping, identifying and being responsive to individual needs

Constantly continuing my own education, connection and involvement in a nature-connection community, striving for authenticity

• traveled to Antigua to go out in villages and build simple masonry cooks to escape in order to get smoke up the chimneys and out of the children's eyes and lungs, among other functions

Worked and lived with a group of strangers and had a fabulous time

Made do with what tools and materials were locally available

• all tending responsibilities: mixing mortar, concrete, humping materials around jobsites and up staging, setup, layout, digging for footings
• Later, all that plus laying stone, brick and block.
