I am a resilient heavy equipment operator that is successful at handling the rigorous physical demands of operating heavy equipment for extended periods of time while doing it safely and proficiently.
While at Hanson, I was titled "Plant supervisor". My job was to uphold the MSHA standards for surface mining and maintaining the safety to a crew of 6 men.
Coordinated cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improving overall plant performance and productivity.
Operating a D8T, I would take trash and landfill it in a proper and safely matter. At the end of every shift, I would then cover the trash in 8 inches of dirt. Occasionally I would also operate Volvo A40 ATD, hauling cover dirt. Up and over slopes that are created during daily operatoions
The company would demolish buildings and homes, from controlled to non controlled environments . I would then haul off the debris to the local landfill.
Newmont is a gold and silver mine. There, I do what is needed from me for the benefits of the work shift. From driving Cat 793F haul trucks for hauling pay dirt, operating Cat 16M motor graders for road maintenance, Cat D10T bulldozers for maintaining dumps and building roads, Cat 854K rubber tire bulldozers, Cat 993K front end loaders, Hitachi 800 excavators, and operating Komatsu PC 5500 shovels to load pay dirt into the haul trucks. I was also a relief shifter. In charge of 45 employees and directing them in a safely manner, for the benefits of the company.
Being part of a support unit, I built roads, bridges, and motor pools. This was made possible with the use of Cat D7G bulldozers, Cat 14M motor graders, Cat 621B scrapers, and Cat 966H front end loaders.
Hanson is a sand and gravel quarry. Being employed there, I have obtained a MSHA 40 certifcation and a 8 hour refresher every year. During my time there, I was a guy who filled in wherever I was needed. From driving Cat 769D and haul trucks, operating a Cat D7G bulldozer, and operating Cat 988H front end loader. The last 2 years I was employed with Hanson, I was the operator of a stone crushing wash plant. Every morning I would spend and hour walking and identifying any safety concerns with the plant and also continuously check the plant through out the day. If anything would arise, the problem would be immediately remediated.
