I am part of the inaugural class of mechanical engineers at Illinois State University which has allowed me to work with state-of-the-art technology and tools. The unique style of course structure has allowed me to work on numerous projects as a lead design engineer, as well as expand my technical skills.
Work History
Mecahnical/Electrical Design Engineer
10 Months- Used CAD software to design locking mechanisms as well as using assemblies to show stress analysis and how composite designs work as a system.
- Used Arduino IDE and Arduino Uno boards to design a multi-modal medication tracking system.
- Identified challenges of a real-world problem and developed solutions that worked as a system.
- Presented the design at multiple engineering and innovation conferences across the country.
Engineering Intern
1 Year 2 Months- Gained experience in mechanical assembly, root-cause analysis, meeting product deadlines and working in a professional environment.
- Tested prototypes and recorded results to verify performance against specifications.
