I played for the ultimate frisbee club team at Scarsdale High School during my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I learned to become a competitive contributor on the field, and as a team, we won the PVI tournament in Northampton, MA. During my sophomore to senior years, I participated in a workout club to learn how to become stronger and build athletic muscle for sports. Next, I was a member of the model UN club in my school during my junior year, where I learned about other foreign nations and different backgrounds. After I played varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball as a junior, it taught me the importance of maturity and competition as well and fun. Lastly, in my senior year, I played JV Basketball and Varsity Baseball to continue what I have learned and perform well in areas I am passionate.
I was the team captain of the varsity baseball team during my junior year of high school. As a captain, I lead practices, giving drills for development, and learned to utilize leadership skills. I was one of the better players on the team, but I was picked to be captain due to my maturity, dedication, and baseball experience. Lastly, I took away how to be a leader and a peer simultaneously for the greater good of the team's goals.
