Manages projects, issues and activities in support of the goals and objectives of the Mayor's Office as assigned. Assists in the management of inter-departmental activities and special projects as assigned; coordinates specific programs as assigned.
Researches issues as assigned; collects, compiles and analyzes data and information; develops recommendations and prepares reports.
Identifies issues and collateral problems, develops alternative solutions, projects consequences of proposed actions, and presents recommendations in support of objectives.
Schedules, prepares and assists NSB employees, students and the public with teleconference calls; operates teleconference equipment, and participates in weekly teleconference meetings.
Coordinates information and communications; clarifies and communicates issues.
Assists in the development and implementation of management recommendations, strategies, policies and procedures.
Confer with department staff, public officials and other professionals to collect information.
Assists in the coordination, preparation and development of reports and special projects.
Perform as liaison to the public, special interest groups, and other government entities as directed.
Represent the Borough at various hearings, meetings, conferences and negotiations as directed.
Attends meetings of the village, municipal or tribal council and village corporations; takes meeting minutes and provides reports and recommendations to the supervisor for any action items which affect the NSB.
Monitors document preparation for accuracy and completeness.
Posts public notices, assists with setting up for meetings and conferences and provides reports on local issues.
Perform preventative maintenance, as needed.
