- Supervise a crew of highly dedicated and caring Firefighter EMT's and Paramedics while performing both emergency and non-emergency operations during our 24 hour shift. Respond to all types of emergency incidents, the majority of which are EMS calls. Duties include fire suppression and all hazards mitigation, as well as providing emergency medical care to sick and injured patients. Administrative duties such as ensuring operational readiness of personnel and emergency vehicles, employee evaluations, and schedule/staffing responsibilities.
- 2015-2018 Captain of EMS Operations for the district. Duties for that position included QA/QI of EMS calls via Imagetrend, providing EMS training for all personnel, attend local and regional TCD meetings, protocol development, helped develop one of the first Community Paramedic programs in the KC Metro, and Field Supervision on high acuity EMS calls.
