Phillip Foster is a current student in the NSU Jazz Studies and Commercial Music
Program in his Senior Year. He originates from Okmulgee, Oklahoma and graduated from high
school there in 2019. His range of repertoire varies from Classical Percussion to Jazz, Funk,
Latin, and Hardcore on drumset. He has performed and collabed with different bands and
ensembles such as The NSU Jazz Ensemble, NSU Percussion Ensemble, Rowdy Mayes,
Bishop Marsh Quintet, and Colton Kro and The Murder. He currently is playing with the NSU
Jazz Ensemble and outside of his college music studies he is playing drums for The Lance
Gouge Band, P.M. Jams, and GodFeed. He has studied with Drummers such as Michael
Bremo, James Lindroth, Chris Peters, and Jacob Martin. After college, he plans to play with his
bands as much as possible and eventually go to Graduate school to further his musical studies.

GodFeed is a 4 Piece Melodic-Post Hardcore band based in Pryor, OK. They have 10+ originals and have performed at venues such as NoiseTown, The pilar, Apple Alley, and Backyard Mixtape. Musical Influences include Deftones, Alice in Chains, Sepultura, Pantera, and Gojira.
P.M. Jams is an electronic quintet based in Tahlequah, OK. Their music is a blend of Jazz, Funk, Trip-Hop and Rock. The band has music on all streaming platforms and has performed at festivals such as Bushyhead fall festival, Red Fern Festival, Blue Note Festival and Crawfish Festival.
Lance Gouge Music is a Red Dirt-Country Rock band based in Okmulgee, OK. You can find all music on any streaming app and they have performed at venues such as, The tumbleweed, Rockin' Country Bar, The Mayo Rooftop Bar, and Rodeo Nightclub.
