  • 12+ years (25+ total in healthcare experience) of successful multi-campus Imaging Leadership. Proven leadership in strategic planning for all imaging disciplines.
  • Strategic and operational planning of the re-building of Norman Regional Moore, Imaging Services. Tornado demolished it in 2013.
  • Strategic and operational planning of NRHS's Cardiovascular and Diagnostic Imaging Services. Norman Regional HealthPlex. Opened in 2010.
  • Successfully negotiated, acquired and implemented over 50% of the current imaging equipment throughout the system. Focused on quality, price and patient/physician experience.
  • Co-led efforts to select and implement radiology PACS and cardiovascular (CVIS) systems.
  • Led cost savings initiatives throughout numerous service lines as well as a reduction of FTE's without compromising quality and patient outcomes. Reduction of labor expenses, yet streamlined process and productivity. Continual review of operational costs, implementing new processes and alternatives to reduce financial inefficiencies. Re-negotiations of contracts, I.E. Radiopharmaceutical, Teleradiology, Supplies...
  • Instrumental in the development and opening of new patient care service, Vascular Access Center, 2012. Currently the only hospital-based VAC in Oklahoma. Work closely with physician provider (surgeon).
  • Strategical and operational planning of the Heart Plaza, Outpatient Cardiovascular Imaging Center and Cardiology Outpatient Clinic.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES: MANAGER, DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SERVICES

  • Responsible for all services provided in Diagnostic Imaging Service lines, which include 3 Hospitals and multiple off-campus Imaging Services. Report directly to Director and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Under the "umbrella" of Diagnostic Imaging service lines, this position manages the operational and administrative services of Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Special Procedures, Vascular Access Center, and Breast Care Center.
  • Direct oversight of 8 supervisors and 90+ fulltime employees across the system.

Breast Care Center

  • Provides leadership for a fully comprehensive Breast Care Center, with 2 FFDM units, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound guided biopsy, DEXA, clerical/reception and breast clinic. Opened 2nd satellite location in "previous" Moore Medical Center. Updated 2017: Just opened new Breast Care Center on our Healthplex Campus.
  • Work closely with breast surgeon and radiologists to enhance services in this service line.
  • Implemented Breast MRI program.
  • Recent implementation of 3D Mammography.

Multidiscipline

  • Serve as liaison between staff, physicians and other parties to resolve operational or philosophical issues, well respected within the organization as a leader and trusted mentor. Consistent quality rapport with physicians to ensure strength in referral program throughout the system.
  • Co-led a system wide clinical equipment initiative to consolidate numerous service maintenance agreements and vendors into a sole source provider. Final outcome resulted in a projected savings in excess of $1.5M annually for the system.
  • Develop and implementing capital and operating budgets for each department/service line.
  • Reinforcement of fiscal year strategic goals under the pillars of Clinical, Service, Operational and Team Excellence utilizing Lean methodology that focuses on system standardization with local optimization.
  • Develop, utilize and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversight of any imaging related purchases and radiation safety concerns for system.
  • Team leader for HCAHP's Ancillary areas, employee satisfaction, patient and physician satisfaction Strong radiation safety knowledge.
