Work History

Human Performance Laboratory Student Researcher

University Of Massachusetts Amherst
Amherst, MA
02.2022 - 05.2022
  • Submitted journal on proposed training methods for Level 2 automated driving systems to ACM Conference for publication, listed as first author
  • Analyzed participant data from 5 surveys from drive simulation study via graphical output to show trends among participants in preparation for research journal

Sales Construction Intern

Siemens EP
Alpharetta, GA
05.2021 - 08.2021
  • Created Go to Market strategies for Siemens VersiCharge, Siemens’ line of electric car chargers for utilization by Siemens Sales Engineers to pitch to customers
  • Worked closely with R&D to create display units to assist with contractor sales, quoted commercial jobs, and supported distributors by fielding product specification questions
  • Obtained success with apartment complexes in southern region with GTM strategies for VersiCharge, display units aided Sales Engineers in Texas with selling through distributors

Teacher’s Assistant for Probability & Statistics

University Of Massachusetts Amherst
Amherst, MA
01.2021 - 05.2021
  • Facilitated learning by using prior statistics knowledge, communication, and organizational skills

Education

Master of Science - Engineering Management

University of Massachusetts Amherst
Amherst, MA
2023

Bachelor of Science - Industrial Engineering

University of Massachusetts Amherst
Amherst, MA
05.2022

Skills

  • R, R Studio & Python Data Analytics
  • Microsoft Suite & Excel Data Analytics,
  • Solidworks,
  • Stella Architect

Affiliations

  • Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers
  • Society of Women Engineers
  • Vice President/Co-Founder of UMass Fashion Organization [2019-2021]
  • Peer Mentor for Freshmen Engineers at UMass [2019-2020]

Projects

Capstone Project: Evaluating Energy Storage to Enhance to Value of Offshore Wind, Team Lead

  • Spearheaded a team of 3 other students and worked closely with professors to build a network model in Stella Architect to analyze the economic cost of wind energy grid storage solutions
  • Mapped simulation logic for price efficient battery strategies and CO2 offset data

Research Project: Lego Manufacturing Optimization

  • Led a group of two other students on a research project of how to best manufacture Lego's by re-evaluating the current manufacturing process
  • The main aspects that were researched were; ABS for the Lego material, injection molding for mass production, laser probe technology for part measurement in quality control and chemical strip tests to assess part degradation

Research Project: Consumer Susceptibility to Different Greenwashing Tactics: Can a Self-Proclaimed Green Shopper Tell When They Are Being Greenwashed?

  • Conducted an individual research project on consumer perception of green marketing tactics using product ranking surveys distributed among UMass students via email
  • I found there is a correlation between self-assessment of green shopping habits and greenwashed products in the false claims on packaging category and regardless of self-assessment, many are susceptible to greenwashing by green-association

Research Project: Analysis of Temperature Forcing Targets and its Effects on the U.S. Passenger Transportation Economy

  • Analyzed the technology portfolio change in the transportation sector based on 1.5-, 2-, and 3-degree Celsius forcing targets to predict electric vehicle market penetration based on future economic policy using the economic simulation modeling software GCAM
  • Results showed extreme temperature forcing targets such as 1.5 and 2 degrees Celsius did not result in significant electric vehicle market penetration because of the impossibility of capping temperatures in a short time span
