Well-versed in hard work, I am looking for a structured company that can provide a stable work flow. In my early career I spent two years as a laborer and three years in customer service. However, I spent this past year advancing into logistics operations, focusing mainly on inventory and procurement management. I single-handedly set up the inventory system for my current company.
Starting out, I worked as a builder. I familiarized myself with their process for building custom camper-vans through wood working, solar, electrical, plumbing, and much more. Not long after, I began to take on some desk work; I partnered with the CEO to select an inventory system that would be most compatible for the company resulting in my promotion to Procurement Coordinator. I was then tasked with setting up the system and determining the most efficient ways to monitor inventory of parts, hardware, and even supplies for the rental company. I have also hired and trained an Inventory Clerk to lighten my own workload.
Working as a bather, I prepared cats and dogs for their grooming through washing, brushing, and performing a hygienic routine. The salon was a small space in which I worked closely with several other people. We all worked as a team in order to keep many pets comfortable while also carrying out our duties proficiently. I worked exclusively with the owner on Mondays to perform mobile nail trims on pets in the comfort of their homes. We frequented senior homes and worked long hours on mobile Mondays.
I learned a variety of positions around the building involving inbound inventory, preparing shipments, dispatch of packages, etc. I worked with a variety of innovative systems for each post. I was also trained and certified on multiple lift trucks. Each job required my performance to be efficient and examine product quality to assure total customer satisfaction.
