Accomplishments
When I was in college, I graduated with a 4.0 and perfect attendance and was selected as the student of the year for the Florida Association of Private Schools and Colleges in 2008.
I have a tendency to be promoted to a lead or supervisor position in almost all of the jobs I've had because of my dedication and work ethic and passion for the job I am doing.
Opening
I started out in agriculture until I went to college when I took a job in an environmental lab where I did both all of the analysis and sampling for wastewater plants, chemical plants, and monitoring wells. I worked up to field supervisor and even did QA/QC over lab testing for the last six months or so before the company closed the lab. I was studying criminal justice but moved on to water treatment instead because I liked working in the field, though I preferred wastewater but there were no nearby trainee positions at the time so I went to water instead. I worked between two different cities and part time for a private company and worked my way up to Chief Operator. I enjoyed the job though I still wanted to work in wastewater and spent a lot of downtime helping them out when I could because I enjoyed the chemistry and process. In the meantime, I worked my way up to Chief Operator on the drinking water side and performed that with no issues up until we decided to move to Tennessee. I thought about transferring my drinking water license to Tennessee or seeing if I could but to be honest I would rather work in wastewater, my wife says I get excited every time I see a wastewater plant. I currently work in a record pressing factory because I enjoy working on machinery but I am eager to get back into water treatment, specifically wastewater.
