· Receives process orders and verify that all previous operations are complete.
· Verify that material, programs, and blueprints match work orders.
· Verify all previous operations have been completed and signed, quantity totals.
· Completes all necessary paperwork required on orders and logs.
· Performs 1st Piece inspections for reoccurring order.
· Change tools in the machine or replace inserts with correct inserts per tool sheets
· Ability to match tools with dimensions on blueprint as per set up sheet
· Ability to use Tool Eye, Pre-setters, and manual touch offs to set tools (if applicable)
· Make tool wear offsets at the machine
· Cleans and assembles all collet assemblies, removes and replaces fixtures, collets, and tools
· Checks parts according to inspection plan check sheet
· Ensure parts conform to blueprint specifications using precision measuring equipment
· Verify that all measuring equipment and gaging are currently calibrated.
· Recommends process improvements to Supervisor or Programming Personnel to resolve problems.
· Ensures work area, machine, tooling, and parts are cleaned and maintained regularly for continued daily operation.
· Maintains good quality and production output as defined by production manager.
· Within scope of the law will be required to adhere to and comply with state and federal law, Company ISO quality program and procedures, Company policies and safety and Environmental regulations.
